The HKC Securewatch home alarm was and is one of the most popular in Ireland. The older 6 zone panel was replaced by the 8 zone panel in 2006 but nowadays most installers are using the latest hybrid Securewave panel for new installations.
The 8 zone panel and the older 6 zone Securewatch were excellent alarm control panels in their day and are still to be found in homes throughout the country and for the purposes of a basic home alarm they may still be good for a few more years.
